After a long time, yesterday I decided to go to a temple. we went to mahabaleshwar, and after spending some time in temple, where you feel a complete peace and a sense of believe that some higher power is their , who controls all. Mind becomes completely peaceful, but what lesson I want to narrate to you is what happened to us after we left temple. Since our train was at 3:40 and we had almost 2 hours to spend time in the city, so we planned to visit some beaches. We searched and found that there is one of the beach, where in order to reach you need to do 2-3 kms of trek. We thought, it would be some fun if we go over their, and as the name was paradise beach, so we were curious to see what was so beautiful about it. After reaching one side of the mountain, we were informed that you need to do some treks between the forest in order to reach over the beach and from their you can have boats. While we were walking down a path in between jungle, after thirty minutes we realised, we cannot see any human in this forest and on top of that we didn’t knew exactly where to go and whats the path for it. As forest was dense and their were lot of uneven path, some going upward, while some going downward, we were totally confused. Now it was almost 2 hours and we were still stuck in forest with no sign of any human. After sometime, we took a path, which seemed as if people must have used it before many a times, and that path led us to a private property. While we reached their, we were totally exhausted and decided to ask the property owner the way to paradise beach. It was disheartening to hear that we came the wrong way and should have taken the way which take to the top of mountain. Now we were totally exhausted, but since we’re stuck in jungle and at the same time wanted to see the paradise beach, we again started with our journey. while taking a path and moving further, it started getting in my mind, what if we get stuck and eaten by any animal or something happens to us, whom to contact as their were no signal on phone and no human to even hear and help us. But somehow I said to myself, that everything will go well and we moved forward. After another 1 hour, we felt a breeze in our face coming from a cold ocean. Now this gave us the ray of hope, that may be a sea is nearby. We walked for another 30 minutes and were finally able to see the sea from top of the mountain and we proceed further. Finally after many hours, we saw a local guy, cutting woods and he guided us the way to reach paradise. Finally we reached, and the complete beauty about the place made me feel as if it is a heaven. This place had very minimal human intervention, crystal clear water and the tides were roaring. After spending some time over their, we decided to move further.
We saw few boys coming from other side of mountain and we asked the way to reach to a place where we can get transportation for going back to city and they said ” we don’t have any clue of transportation, but if you go by that way, you will get a lot of people, who might help you”. So we trusted them and continued our journey further. As we crossed another face of mountain, climbing over rocks, which were dangerous, at the same time it was difficult to climb. We reached to another beach, where we can see only foreigners, spending their time taking sunbath and spending quality time. Their we saw a hut selling bottle of water, as we were thirsty and had no water with us, we bought some water bottle and moved further. The owner of the hut informed us about the 2 way to reach a beach from where probably we can find some transport to reach city. One was a long way, passing through a jungle and another was a shortcut, but walking over sea rocks. As we were completely exhausted, so we decided to take shorted route. After walking sometime on the sea rocks, we found that the path has been eroded due to sea waves and to cross this mountain, we need to swim through sea. As we didn’t had any energy to swim through sea, we decided to go back and take the longer route to reach the beach.
Now with only water bottle with us and nothing to eat nor having any clue about the exact route, we kept moving further in a hope to cross this giant mountain. Here I learnt a very important lesson about life, Life is full of uncertainty, many a time you will find a well trodden path. But a well trodden path won’t give you the true meaning of your life, you will never be able to know your true strength and limits. But walking through uncertainty, let you explore the true meaning of life. Now you know about your strength and you face real test of strength and optimism. Here you need to show your character and be willing to move an extra miles. Here I was able to test my inner core strength and learn an important lesson of optimism. In the same way, for an entrepreneurs, many a time there are well set business, which they can replicate and earn some money. But if people are ready to move one step further and stretch their limit to do something extra, they can really achieve things that are worthless. It’s the difficulty that make us strong and motivates us. So be willing to take risk, life will always throw opportunity to you, its you responsibility to be ready to grab it.
